Extra security locking

Security is a major consideration these days and here at 1st Choice we can offer a range of additional locking mechanisms to new and existing garage doors.

We can offer: 

• Garage Door Defenders which are a physical deterrent that fixes to the ground immediately in front a garage door - preventing the door from being opened, even if the garage door lock fails.
• Mortice Deadlocks are similar to locks that are fitted to front entrance doors and are 'morticed' into the sides of the garage door panel itself, these provide a good robust secure lock that is very difficult to tamper with.
• Padbolts and Hasp & Staples are simple
  and basic but are proven to be good security
  measures and are fitted direct to the garage
  door panel and secured by padlocks.

Weatherstrips

Garage doors can suffer from draughts and debris being blown into the garage because of gaps underneath the door panels. To prevent this we can offer a selection of extra weatherstrips, such as Rubber and Brush strips that can be fixed to the bottom edge of the door. We can also offer a Rubber floor strip which is glued to the floor so that the garage door can then close against the strip.

Fascia boards and cladding

1st Choice offer a range of cladding and fascias in timber or UPVC, which can be fitted over existing frames or to new frames. These can complement a new door and can finish the entire job properly so that there is minimal maintenance to worry about
