Pedestrian Door and Garage Door Installation - Birling, MaidstoneBack
A customer in the village of Birling, near Maidstone required two new garage doors and a pedestrian door to be installed at their property. We made the decision on two white sectional garage doors and a white pedestrian door, all with windows in a similar style to the existing windows.
Before the project could be taken underway, we arranged for a local builder to carry out some structural brickwork alterations first. We were then able to supply the client with door specifications and chose two Novoferm 45mm insulated sectional garage doors to be installed in the two openings. These doors would also have cross mullion windows across the top of the top door panels. In addition to this, a pedestrian door was supplied in the same colour with the same style windows.
This project posed several critical issues that we had to manage and contend with. This included:
- The new doors required windows similar to the existing house windows.
- The garage doors needed to be tall enough to allows the customer to store a commercial vehicle.
- The pedestrian door design needed to match the new garage doors.
- The internal ceiling panelling required re-instating.
